Founded back in 1997 in Armenia company “Aquatic” LLC is presently one of the best known suppliers of high quality crayfish to European, Est. European, Scandinavian and CIS countries.
It has been enlarging its profile in crayfish business working very attentively and flexibly for its clients. The company has offered only a high quality to the market for 9 years. Since May 2005, based on market demands, Aquatic has started the production of cooked-pasteurized and frozen crayfish. One of the main reasons of the success of the company is the location of freshwater Lake Sevan. Surrounded with high mountains and situated at 1800 m over the sea level, Lake Sevan is the homeland of Armenian crayfish Astacus Lepdotactulus.

The lake’s crystal-clear water gives a special taste to the crayfish. Freshly caught crayfish is directly brought to the company’s Plant built just 80 meters far from the lake. The plant is being exploited by Swedish technology and has been approved by EU Commission with the appropriate Agreement number AM 003.
Being the unique one in its kind and having no analogues either in the Republic of Armenia or in Caucasus the plant is being exploited by a technology ensuring the required international quality and ecological safety norms. The establishment has always been visited by foreign delegations and companies. The company’s production volume reaches 300 tons of crayfish per year.
