Aquatic
The company owns 4000 sq m of land on the shore of Lake Sevan. The processing plant is divided into a 'live' (700 sq m) section and a 'cooking' (1000 sq m) section. Our plant conditions are in conformity with all the standards and regulations respective EU directives.

Alive crayfish section


In the 'live' section, caught crayfish is brought to the plant just from fishing vessels, where it is placed alive into storage pools. The water in the pools sources from artesian shafts having 150 meters dept. When the crayfish in the pools is ready to be packed, the workers select and pack them in the boxes. Crayfish is packed in boxes of 5 kg according to the Customer’s order. The company is using three types of boxes:
1. plastic boxes P N
2. wooden boxes P N
3. foam boxes P N
Packed goods are immediately put into the refrigerator and kept at temperature +3 C° - +7 C° till the end of the packing process, then transported to the airport by a refrigerator truck.

The product intended to be cooked is selected and passed to the cooking section by transporter.

Cooking section

In the 'cooking' section, crayfish is cooked, packed, pasteurized and quick frozen. All the procession operations are automated which provides a high quality to the product.

The goods are packed in ecologically pure polystyrene trays.
From the packing section the vacuum packages are transported to the other sections by transporter.
The dill sauce prepared by the receipt of company Aquatic and the Swedish technology give a special taste to the product. The pouring process of the dill sauce is also automated.
The product of company Aquatic is pasteurized and quick frozen at the temperature -60°C which guarantees a 2 years’ usability.

After the pasteurization the product is deep frozen and packed in carton boxes, then in master boxes. Final packed product is kept in the frigo-sections of the plant at the temperature -20°C.

The plant processing procedures are monitored by the State Hygienic and Epidemiologic Department of the Ministry of Health of Republic of Armenia in conformity with EU regulations.
